Hope for Now

As hard as life gets sometimes there’s always hope. Amid pain, suffering and loss these days it can really make the walls feel like they are closing in. As for me my back has really been bothering me, but there’s still a life that must go forward. The show can’t stop. This last week was a hard one, but I made it through. I know my rest is in God and that’s where my hope is found. Sometimes it’s really hard. I know it’s the same for many of you and I want to encourage you on this Monday August 10, 2020.

Whether it be a physical, behavior, emotional or spiritual challenge, there is relief in sight. I can say sometimes when it feels like we can’t push anymore, try! When you feel like you don’t think you’ll find the strength you need to go another hour, reach a little more! Why? Because we are warriors and our hope is found in Jesus! When you get a few minutes, get alone and talk to him and just rest. I promise he will give you the power to move forward amid whatever is in the way. Reach out to your trusted friends and remember we can’t go this journey alone.

I pray for each of you reading this and I hope you will do the same for me. Through giving we receive.

Thanks friends and in these hard times, let's pay attention to our breathing, it’s important. Better breathing means more oxygen and more oxygen equals more clarity. Just a random thought!

Love you all and have a wonderful day!

Matthew 6:34

Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.”

1 John 5:13-14

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life. And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.

1 Peter 1:3-6

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:8-10

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

John 4:13-14

Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again, The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
